A week of airports, adventures, laughs that should’ve gotten us kicked out of public places, and enough memories to keep us laughing for years. I’ve always been addicted to becoming. To finding out how much I can evolve if I keep choosing growth through every version of life. Powerlifting just happens to be my favorite way to do it. Because the weights don’t care about excuses, heartbreak, instability, grief, fear, or uncertainty. The bar only responds to what I built. And despite everything life threw at me this year, both shared and the things that aren’t — through grief, complete rebuilding, medical issues, and training while working 70 hours a week — I still walked onto a national platform stronger than I’ve ever been. I’m not chasing fame. I’m not chasing someone else’s success. I’m chasing my full potential.
